New to all divisions for 2013:
Any division that has 3 Race wins Total must add 50 lbs to right side, center of car.
Any additional 3 races must add another 50 lbs. 

Car Requirements

1. 1965 or newer body style.

2. Minimum wheel base of 108".

3. Maximum tread width 78" measured outside of tire to outside of tire at spindle height.

4. No quick change rear ends. 9" Ford rear ends ok, disk brakes allowed.

5. Cross members must remain OEM stock component and in OEM location, but may be modified for oil pan and fuel pump clearance.

6. Aftermarket upper A-frames ok.

7. No aftermarket lowers A-frames. Cutting of A-frames shorter or longer. All lower A-frames must be in stock OEM location and unaltered.

8. No traction control.

9. Leaf spring cars must maintain all stock frame front to rear.

10. May run aftermarket wilwood front calibers as long as they are GM type and mount on stock spindle bracket.

11. You may run aftermarket hubs and rotors on front for the hard braking at KMS.

12. No racing front spindles. Must be stock OEM style spindles.

13. Must run stock type front sway bar.

14. Shocks must be steel, economy type. No adjustable shocks or gas rechargeable shocks.

15. No bump-stops or suspension travel limiting devices. No coil binding.

16. Racing springs permitted. No coil over Rear springs. Must mount on top of rear-end housing.

17. 3100 lb base weight minimum at all times. Including driver after race. Maximum left side weight 57%.

18. Spoiler may not exceed 6" in total height.

19. Aftermarket bumper covers must cover all bumpers and brace supports and all metal must be behind and covered by the cover. Must run a stock-type bumper if no bumper cover is used. Rear bumper/tail light area must be enclosed (no open tail sections)

20. No antifreeze. $100 penalty if caught using antifreeze.

21. LEAD: All weight (lead) must be mounted with a minimum of two (2) 1/2 inch bolts. All weights are to be painted white with the car # painted on each piece. Any driver that looses any lead from his car will be fined $250 payable prior to any further competition. This rule is in effect during race day or practice days.

Wheels and Tires

1. Maximum width of rim 8". Must be steel. No wide 5.

2. Must run track tire, Towel city recap horizontal Blue dot only.

3. No bleeder valves allowed.

Transmissions

1. Automatic transmission with working torque converter. No direct drives.

2. OEM type manual transmissions, 3 or 4 speeds add 50 lbs.

3. Can run any clutch assembly. Cannot be any smaller than 7.25" diameter.

4. All transmissions must have all working gears.

5. Must have 2 drive shaft loops.

6. No oil coolers inside of car.

Engine

1. Engines must be cast iron, block and heads. No dry sump.

2. Heads must be standard valve angle. No shaft mounted rockers.

3. Engine must be located so the spark plug of forward most cylinder is no further back than 1" of center-line of the upper ball joint.

4. Oil accumulators are permitted.

5. Engines under 365c.i. 3100 lbs.

6. Engines over 365 c.i. 3200 lbs. max 410 c.i.

7. Roller Cam add 75 lbs.

8. Headers permitted. Crossovers permitted. Cannot run 180 degree.

9. Cars running cast iron exhaust, deduct 50 lbs.

10. Cars running cast iron intake, deduct 25 lbs.

11. Approved Holly "box stock" #4412 carburetor. May remove choke horn. Carburetors will be gauged top and bottom.

12. One spacer plate or adapter not to exceed 1 ¼" thick.

13. No air leaks of any kind.

14. Stock unported heads recieve 50lb. weight break

Protests

$500 to look at top half only, $1000 to look at everything else. Protester must tear down first. KMS to keep 30% win or lose.

Rules may be amended throughout the year.

Any out of town car will be allowed two weeks then will be assessed a weight penalty either added or deducted.

Car Requirements

1. Minimum wheel base 108"

2. Frames must be OEM. No boxing or bending to alter frame.

3. No x-ing frame underneath period.

4. Engine must be centered on chassis side to side. Engine must be in stock location.

5. Aftermarket bumper covers must cover all bumpers and brace supports and all metal must be behind and covered by the cover. Must run a stock-type bumper if no bumper cover is used. Rear bumper/tail light area must be enclosed (no open tail sections).

6. Must remove all glass and flammable material from the car.

7. Leaf spring cars must retain all stock frames front to rear and cannot connect frame rail underneath car.

8. No altering frame in any way.

9. Frame must remain stock, unaltered. No cutting frame as for to shorten or widen frame.

10. Racing belts and window nets are mandatory.

11. Racing seat and fuel cells are mandatory.

12. Cars cannot be any lower than 6" at any 4 corners of the car with driver in car.

13. Car and driver must weigh 3400 lbs after feature.

14. 55% left side weight max.

15. All cars must have a 4 point roll cage in the car with 4 door bars on drivers side and 3 on passenger side. Bars can run thru front and rear.

16. No radios allowed.

17. No antifreeze allowed. A $100 penalty if caught using antifreeze.

18. LEAD: All weight (lead) must be mounted with a minimum of two (2) 1/2 inch bolts. All weights are to be painted white with the car # painted on each piece. Any driver that looses any lead from his car will be fined $250 payable prior to any further competition. This rule is in effect during race day or practice days.

Suspension

1. Factory OEM lower front control arms only. All A-frames upper and lower must remain stock for that make and model car and must mount in unaltered stock location.

2. Non adjustable replacement ball joints only. After market bushings permitted.

3. Must run stock sway bar and must mount in stock location with stock mounts.

4. Must retain all stock steering components.

5. Must have working 4 wheel brakes. No rear disk brakes unless it came factory standard equipment.

6. No bump-stops or suspension travel limiting devices. No coil binding.

7. All rear ends must be stock for that make and model car. And all trailing arms must be stock and be in stock OEM mounting brackets in OEM locations on chassis and rear end. Everything unaltered and stock.

8. Shocks must be steel. No adjustable shocks, all shocks must be mounted in stock location.

9. Adjustable front buckets ok.

10. Wedge bolts in rear ok.

11. Rear ends may be a positive track or mini spool or welded.

12. Must run a drive shaft loop.

13. Leaf spring cars must retain all stock frames front to rear and cannot connect frame rail underneath car.

Engines

1. Maximum Cubic Inch-350 for Chevy and 351 for Ford, Maximum bore .060.

2. All engines must be in stock location. Can run solid mounts.

3. Engines must be cast iron (block and heads).

4. Cranks must be stock or OEM replacement. Crank must weigh 50lbs or more and cannot be lightened in any way. Can only drill holes to balanced crank. No stroking of any kind. Stock Chevy Stroke 3.480.

5. Rods cannot weigh any lighter than 540 grams. (example: 5.700 inch for Chevy)

6. No aluminum rods or titanium.

7. Flat top piston 2 or 4 eyebrow. No dome pistons.

8. Must run Hydraulic cam with max lift of 450, including rockers.

9. No rollers of any type.

10. Can run screw in studs and guide plates. Stud girdles are permitted.

11. May run a stock type roller rocker arm 1:5 ratio.

12. Can run aluminum pulleys on engine and aluminum radiator.

13. Heads must be stock OEM heads 72cc and up. No angle milling, no porting or polishing, no vortex, no double hump, no bow ties. Aftermarket heads are NOT allowed. Only stock replacement world products part # 043600 '87-up # 043640

14. 1.94 intake and 1.5 exhaust valve size and 11/32 stem size and stock spring diameter

15. Stock Holley 4412 two barrel carburetor. This WILL be gauged. Removing of choke parts allowed

16. May run aluminum intake Edelbrock performer # Chevy '86 and earlier #2701, '87-'95, #2104, Ford 351 #3781, Chrysler #2176

17. Aluminum intake must add 25 lbs.

18. Headers allowed. 1 5/8" tube side with 3" collector and cannot run any larger than 3" pipes. No step type headers.

19. May run cast iron manifolds. Deduct 50 lbs.

20. No Air leaks of any kind.

21. No MSD system or Hot boxes. HEI distributors only.

Wheels and Tires

1. Steel wheels only. Maximum width 8 inches.

2. Tires must be Towel City recap BLUE DOT and must have the horizontal dot on tire.

Transmissions

1. Must run an automatic transmission.

2. Must have a working torque converter no smaller than 10" in diameter.

3. No lock up torque converters, no step torque converters.

4. No Direct drives.

5. No TCI stepped converters.

6. No oil coolers inside cars.

Protests

$500 to look at top half only. $1000 to look at everything else. Protester must tear down first. KMS to keep 30% win or lose.

Rules may be amended throughout the year.

Car requirements

1. Minimum wheelbase 108 inch, all cars must be same make and model per car brand.

2. Strictly an economy based class. No performance modifications of any type will be allowed. All cars must retain all stock body parts front to rear and must retain stock front and rear firewalls. Must also have stock floor pans and rocker panels.

3. No X-ing of any cars underneath. No excessive gutting. If material is removed, roll cage must be put in place. All cars must have a 4 point roll cage in the car with 4 door bars on drivers side and 3 on passenger side. Bars can run thru front and rear.

4. Aftermarket bumper covers must cover all bumpers and brace supports and all metal must be behind and covered by the cover. Must run a stock-type bumper if no bumper cover is used. Rear bumper/tail light area must be enclosed (no open tail sections).

5. Must remove all glass and flammable material from the car.

6. Leaf spring cars must retain all stock frames front to rear and cannot connect frame rail underneath car.

7. No altering frame in any way.

8. Frame must remain stock, unaltered. No cutting frame as for to shorten or widen frame.

9. Racing belts and window nets are mandatory.

10. Racing seat and fuel cells are required.

11. Cars cannot be any lower than 7" at any 4 corners of the car with driver in car.

12. Car and driver must weigh 3400 lbs after feature.

13. 55% left side weight max for Thunder Stocks only.

14. No radios allowed.

15. No antifreeze in radiator. A $100 penalty if caught using antifreeze.

16. LEAD: All weight (lead) must be mounted with a minimum of two (2) 1/2 inch bolts. All weights are to be painted white with the car # painted on each piece. Any driver that looses any lead from his car will be fined $250 payable prior to any further competition. This rule is in effect during race day or practice days.

Suspension

1. Suspension parts must remain absolutely stock for make and model.

2. Sway bar must be in original rubber mounts where connected to frame. No adjusting sway bar where mounted to frame. Sway bar must be stock.

3. Shocks must be stock Monroe or equivalent, no Bilstein and must be in stock location in stock mounts.

4. Stock springs must be in original location.

5. All a-frames must remain stock and must mount in unaltered stock location.

6. Leaf spring cars must retain all stock frames front to rear and cannot connect frame rail underneath car.

7. No spring spacers in front, rear to be shimmed only.

8. Must retain all stock steering components.

9. Must have working 4-wheel brakes. No disk brakes unless it came as standard equipment.

10. All rear ends must be stock for that make and model car and all trailing arms must be stock and be in stock OEM mounting brackets and in OEM locations on chassis and rear end. Everything must remain unaltered and completely stock.

11. Stock rear end can be locked or ran open. No lockers or tru-tracks(stock or aftermarket) allowed.

12. Drive shaft loop required.

13. Top A-Frame Bolt, Max 3".

Transmission

1. A stock automatic transmission with working torque converter. No power glides, No manual or racing transmissions allowed.

2. No direct drives, no lock up torque converters, no TCI transmissions. 11" diameter minimum torque converter.

3. No oil coolers inside car.

4. Drive shafts must be painted white.

Wheels and Tires

1. Steel wheels only. Maximum width 8 inches.

2. Tires must be Towel City recap BLUE DOT and must have the horizontal dot on tire.

Engines

1. Maximum Cubic Inch-350 for Chevy and 351 for Ford, Maximum bore .060.

2. Chevy 305 engines and Ford 302 may deduct 200 lbs.

3. All engines must be in stock location. Can run solid mounts.

4. Engines must be cast iron (block and heads).

5. All motors must retain all stock parts such as block, crank, rods. Must weigh stock weight. Crank must weigh 50lbs or more and cannot be lightened in any way. Can only drill holes to balanced crank. No stroking of any kind.

6. Rods cannot weigh any lighter than 540 grams.

7. Flat top piston 2 or 4 eyebrow. No dome pistons.

8. Must run Hydraulic cam with max lift of 400, including rockers. 400 lift cam deduct 25 lbs.

9. No rollers of any type.

10. Can run screw in studs and guide plates. Must run stock rocker arms at a 1.5 ratio.

11. Can run cast iron OEM intake. No high rise or bowtie intakes. No porting or polishing or any type.

12. Can run aluminum pulleys on engine and aluminum radiator.

13. Heads must be stock OEM heads 72cc and up. No angle milling, no porting or polishing, no vortex, no double hump, no bow ties. Aftermarket heads are NOT allowed.

16. Stock manifolds, no center dumps or truck manifolds allowed.

19. No larger than 2 ½" exhaust pipes may be used. Exhaust pipes must exit under car or R or L of car.

Protests $400 to look at top half and $800 for everything else. Protester must tear down first. KMS keeps 30% win or lose. Rules may be amended throughout the year.

Car Requirements

1. Any Stock Appearing  car with 4-cylinder engine.

2. Must remove all glass and interior. Must leave windshield or replace with LEXAN. No Plexiglas.

3. Must remove all headlights, taillights, hubcaps and loose trim.

4. All doors must be welded shut.

5. Must run a full cage. May have rear down bars. May run front hoop with two down bars only, hoop bars may come into the main cage. You may also run a steel plate 6 inches wide, ½ inch thick down left side extending 1 foot past front door post and 1 foot past rear door post if you would like. Must be welded or bolted with no less than four ½ inch bolts.

6. Seatbelts required.

7. If battery is mounted inside the drivers' compartment; battery must be in an enclosed container.

8. Must remove hood latch and replace with two hood pins. Hood hinges must remain.

9. Must remove deck lock and replace with two hood pins.

10. May remove heater core and air conditioner core, but must cover hole with metal.

11. NO anti-freeze in radiator. $100 penalty if caught using anti-freeze.

12. 6" maximum spoiler height.

13. Must have a master disconnect switch accessible by the driver and safety crew. Master disconnect must be clearly labeled as such.

14. No Radios

Suspension

1. All suspension parts must be stock. Stock shocks. Springs optional. 

2. May remove sway bar.

3. Spring adjusters are allowed.

4. No Steel bushings.

5. Rear end must be square in chassis.

6. Front camber is no more than 10 deg; Rear cambered is no more than 2 inches checked with a framing square w/zero toe.

7. No more than 1" difference on wheel base left to right.

Engines

1.  Any engine modifications. Stock Appearing Motor and Head.  All air MUST pass through carburetor or throttle body. 

2. Fuel injected or carbureted. No turbos or superchargers.

3. May run header. Exhaust must exit outside of car past driver.

4. May run aftermarket computers.

5. Rear wheel drive can run holley box stock 4412.

Transmission

1. Automatic or standard shift.

Tires

1. May run ANY tires

Weight

1. All cars must weigh a minimum of 2,100 pounds with driver. 55% maximum left side weight.

Protests

$400 for top half and $800 for everything else. Protester must tear down first. KMS keeps 30% win or lose. Rules may be amended throughout the year.

Car Requirements

1. 4-cylinder and v-6- no aftermarket bodies allowed. No all Wheel drive, no all wheel steer, no trucks, no 2 seat coupes, strictly an economically based class. No performance modifications will be allowed. v-6 must run automatic transmission.

2. Cars must have stock frame, stock firewall and stock floor pan. Any openings in firewall and floor pan must be covered. No reinforcing the body outside the driver's compartment. All exterior trim, including lights, body molding, mirrors, etc. must be removed. Stock body panels and stock bumpers are to be used. Bumpers must remain in stock position and be secured and chained so that they will not fall off if impacted. All doors must be welded or bolted shut. Hood must be secured with a minimum of two hood pins. All glass must be removed from the vehicle. Front windshield may be replaced with Lexan. If screen wire is used, a minimum of three vertical bars in front of driver at windshield opening. No Spoilers.

3. All flammable interior must be removed. Steering column and pedals must remain stock. All air bag components must be removed. Heating and air boxes may be removed.

4. Racing seat required. Must be securely bolted to a mount assembly that is part of the roll cage. Racing belts mandatory. All belts will be attached to roll cage. Cars with electric fuel pump must have a master disconnect switch accessible by the driver and safety crew. Master disconnect must be clearly labeled as such.

5. A full four point roll cage is required. Minimum three door bars on driver side, two on passenger side. Minimum ¼" plate must be welded or bolted to the outside of drivers door bars. Doors must be welded shut. Window net and roll bar padding is mandatory.

6. All 4 brakes must remain stock. No ABS or traction control allowed, all ABS sensors must be disabled.

7. No radio communication allowed.

8. A complete exhaust must be in place completely under the vehicle. No portion of exhaust may pass through interior and must exit under vehicle behind the driver at rear. Remover of catalytic converter is allowed.

9. No antifreeze in radiator. A $100 penalty if caught using antifreeze.

10. Standard or automatic transmission allowed. Clutch must be stock and flywheel must not be lightened.

11. Motors must be stock only. Absolutely NO engine modifications. Engine must be stock for the car that it is in. Must run stock ECU, no turbos or superchargers. Stock intake manifold must be used with no modifications. Stock exhaust manifold much be used with no modifications. No headers, even if delivered from factory. Removal of smog, emission , air conditioning and power steering parts are permitted. Absolutely NO engine modifications.

12. DOT approved passenger tires only.  No "made for racing" tires. No low profile tires. All tires must be non directional all season radials. Tires can be 13, 14, or 15" max. They can be 75, 70, 65 or 60 series. A maximum of 7-inch width for 15" wheels and 6 ½ for 14" wheels. All four tires and wheels must be the same size, series and offset. NO stagger allowed.  Racing wheels allowed must be centered of wheel, no offsets. No spacers allowed behind wheels. Amended: No aluminum wheels.

13. Only OEM style shocks, struts, springs allowed. No progressive rate spring. No heating or cutting springs allowed. A maximum of 1" of camber measure 90 degrees of tire will be allowed, right front only. A ¼" right rear only. No modifications of existing parts. All suspension parts must remain factory.

Protests

$400 for top half and $800 for everything else. Protester must tear down first. KMS keeps 30% win or lose.

IF IT DOESN'T SAY IT-----YOU CAN'T DO IT!!!!

1.  100” Minimum Wheel Base.  Front or Rear wheel drive Cars, Trucks, Vans allowed. 
2. V-6 or V-8 with or w/o fuel injection.  No changing of injectors.  Must be stock OEM.
3. No excessive gutting but remove all flammable material.
4. No gutting of trunk.
5. Only gutting will be on door for roll cage only.
6. Loop bar with 3 kickers minimum. 
7. Stock Steering column, stock or removable steering wheel.
8. Window Net mandatory.
9. May use stock tank or fuel cell but you may not gut trunk, cell must sit on existing trunk.
10. Must have fire extinguisher.
11. Racing seat and seat belts mandatory.
12. No more than 2 degree camber right front.
13. All glass must be removed, front glass must be replaced with lexan or screen.
14. Dash may be either in or out.
15. Motor must be stock that came out with that car.
16. Racing Wheels may be used, 7” max width.  Must have a 3 ½” offset.
17. Tires 70 or 75 series. No racing tires.
18. No stagger, all 4 wheels must be same size.
19. No positive traction, limited slip, or lock up devices.
20. Must run a 308 gear or higher.
21. No open front or back ends of car.

    CLAIM RULE

    Whole car $1000.  To make a claim, you must run in the same class and must be done within 10 minutes of the end of feature race.

    Claim does not include: Safety equipment, seat, belts,  or fuel cell.

    Car being claimed must have 2 feature wins and claimer must have finished in top 5 to be eligible to claim another top 5 car. Claimer must have finished on the lead lap.

    If car being claimed refuses, they lose all points and winnings for that night.  2^nd time refusing must sit out 2 weeks.
